Sustainable development of the textile industry, a study of the professional path of clothing designers, a modern and ecological approach to the industry – these and other topics were discussed during the seventh edition of Fast Textile at Ptak Warsaw Expo. The success of this edition of the event is a great forecast for the next one!

The Fast Textile International Fair is the most important event of this kind in Europe. Year by year, both its range and its popularity increases among visitors. This is guaranteed by the theme of the event, adapted to the requirements of the industry, as well as the prestigious space of Ptak Warsaw Expo, which corresponds to the scale of the event.. This has contributed to the success of the seventh edition of Fast textile. It was visited by 12,110 participants who familiarized themselves with the offers of 276 exhibitors presenting their services on 25,000 m2.

Networking, education and new opportunities at Fast Textile

During Fast Textile, a conference devoted to the development of the industry was held. Ptak Warsaw Expo organized it in cooperation with the Łukasiewicz Research Network and the Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design.
The theme of the event oscillated around modern solutions and innovations. Dr. Iwona Masłowska-Lipowicz spoke about the additional functions of light industry materials as a response to the expectations of conscious users, and Dr. Anna Pinar about the industrial washing of protective clothing – the Eureka Project. Monika Szkopiecka and Master Engineer Witold Madaj spoke on their part about the capabilities of the Center of Biopolymers and Chemical Fibers in the field of forming fibrous products. A lecture on the professional path of a fashion designer was given by Andrzej Foder.
However, there were many, many more topics, and subsequent discussions turned into proposals for changes in individual enterprises and the establishment of new business relationships. This was also helped by the Hosted Buyers program dedicated to exhibitors.
And who was among them? Manufacturers and distributors of fabrics and knitwear, accessories, home textiles, textile services, machinery, textile advertising, finished products, upholstery textiles, as well as representatives of industry media and managers of workshops, courses and training.
Thanks to this compilation, the fair was a platform for creative presentations and a suggestion for preparation of a more interesting, detailed offer, enriched with ready-made sample products and unconventional implementations.

We are preparing the next edition of Fast Textile
